Our horses

School horses are carefully chosen for their willing attitude, patience, and training. Our school horses are trained and available for lessons at all dressage levels. Private lessons are one hour long and provide the student with fifteen minutes of grooming and horsemanship instruction, along with forty-five minutes of riding instruction. Forty-five minute lessons provide the student with fifteen minutes of grooming and horsemanship instruction, along with thirty minutes of riding instruction.

Punch cards may be purchased in 3, 5 and 10 lesson increments that allow you to save money while still scheduling lessons at your convenience. Our punch cards also make great gifts!

Your horse

Whether you choose to board your horse with us or trailer them in, our trainers are ready to work with you and your horse to improve your skills. Lessons are available in all levels of dressage, and you can use our punch cards to save money while still scheduling lessons at your convenience.

Practice time

Dressage Dancers offers practice riding time in our arenas with our talented school ponies and horses at the rate of $25/hour. This riding time is supervised but schooling is not available from the instructor. We also offer birthday parties, summer camps, and plan to offer additional types of riding instruction in the future.

Riding lessons terms and conditions:

Lessons are given in our indoor or outdoor arenas, rain or shine. Lessons will be scheduled at mutually-agreeable times with school horses and instructors as assigned by Dressage Dancers. If you must miss a scheduled lesson, we require 24 hours' notice to reschedule without penalty. Lessons that are missed, canceled, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will require payment. All riders must wear proper boots and approved helmets for safety, without exception. Riding breeches and gloves are strongly recommended for all lessons.
